The original Toolbox now contains nine lossless tools: AutoRotate, Rotate Left, Rotate Right, Date Stamp, Comment Stamp, Grayscale Conversion, Thumbnail Regenerator, Vertical Canvas Extension and Horizontal Canvas Extension. More Lossless Tools:

All of the tools available for download were created by me to perform a unique function generally not available with other software tools. They are designed to be simple to use and to perform their task technically correct. They respect your photos and all the information they contain.

These tools perform their function losslessly. A lossless JPEG function is one where the original JPEG image data is not modified in any way during processing, or where only those pixels which are changed (e.g. text stamping) are recompressed - leaving the rest of the image completely untouched and 100% original.

  • GPStamper - Imprint geodata on geotagged photos (example). Simple 2-step process. Options to print coordinates, location description, date/time and custom text. (review)
  • GenStamp - Stamping tool for genealogists and family historians (example). Access GEDCOM files directly from GenStamp.
  • Lossless Date Stamp EX - THE tool for losslessly stamping your photos (example). Flexible stamping options - font (example), color, size, placement, transparency and date format. Option to stamp any text of your choosing!
  • Lossless Logo - Lossless logo insertion - a single click operation!
  • Lossless Spot Remover - Remove spots, dots and lines losslessly. This tool is custom built upon request (currently free) for images from a specific camera which was either defective, suffers from hot pixels, or had a dirty sensor while in use. The tool will batch correct all imperfect images with a single click!
  • MetadataMirror - View complete or select image metadata (example) for a single file or an entire folder of images. Metadata log can be easily saved (see example).
  • Canon EXIF Tool - Modify ISO metadata from Canon cameras (pre-2007 models) (example). Performs two additional EXIF modifications, including photo copyright and file modification date issues. Overwrite and copy options. Requires ExifTool. Download the Windows executable version of ExifTool, rename it exiftool.exe and place it in the Canon EXIF Tool folder.

Non-Lossless Tools:

  • PhotoResize Options EX - Resize photos fast! GUI for PhotoResize 3.0 from http://www.rw-designer.com. Simply download PhotoResize (renaming it photoresize.exe) and PhotoResize Options EX, then place them in the same folder before starting Options. (Update - now resizes monochrome images.)
